1906 FEB. 2 Domestic cover sent from Hall & Holtz Tientsin to Taiyuan, franked with 2c Coiling Dragon stamp, arrived Taiyuan Feb.10 and re-addressed to Peking 19 FEB, opened by mister W. XX and sealed with 1st issued Chinese Imperial Post Officially Sealed label x 4, and then sent on to Foochow with MAR.3 arrival cds, also two faint Chinese lunar dater. This is the second earliest cover with 1st Chinese Imperial Post Officially Sealed labels (the hitherto earliest recorded was on an incoming mail 7 Nov. 1905) and the earliest on domestic cover according to our notice.
